Physiotherapy can be expensive, you have to go for multiple visits and it can take time. But I really don’t believe finances should be a reason that someone is able to access high-quality healthcare. I’ve tried to determine a pricing structure that is both reasonable for clients and that I believe offers high value for money. As a mobile physiotherapy clinic, I am able to significantly reduce my overheads which is a saving I am then able to pass on to my clients. I have opted to maintain a 45min consultation for both initial and follow-up consultations as I believe this offers the highest value for money along with optimising clinical care and outcomes.
Each consultation is $100 with private health rebates able to be made.
PRP Physio is not a preferred provider for any health funds as I believe this provides a negative effect on the healthcare community with health funds able to dictate pricing and by affect session times. This does not mean that you aren’t able to claim your rebate from your health fund, it may just be a slightly smaller amount.
If you would like to confirm how much of a rebate you will receive I would recommend you speak with your health fund provider, often you will need to provide the code for the treatment, initial consultations are a 500 code, and follow-up consultations are a 505 code.
