Mobile Physio Narangba

Mobile Physio for the Narangba Community

Narangba still has that small-town, community feel even as it's grown, and I like that about working here. Between the shops on Main Street near Narangba station, the Forest Ridge estate, and the Harris Avenue Sports Complex with its popular skate park, it's a suburb where people genuinely know their neighbours, and I try to bring that same personal approach to every session.

Proud to Support Narangba's Sporting Clubs

Narangba punches above its weight for sport, and I regularly work with athletes connected to the Narangba Crows AFL club, the Narangba Eagles football club and the Narangba Demons baseball club, along with the Narangba Valley Novas and Narangba Dynamos netball clubs. The Eagles and the Demons both call the Harris Avenue Sports Complex home, and rugby league is well covered too by the Narangba Rangers. Whether it's an off-season strength and conditioning check-in or getting someone back onto the field after an injury, I understand what each of these sports demands physically, and I build rehab plans around that.

PRP Physio Core Values and Beliefs

PRP Physio as a business is built upon 7 enduring core values and beliefs. I hold myself to these values and use them to guide how I conduct myself as an individual and as an entity.

Great Relationships

Every interaction I have is with a unique individual, I will treat each interaction with the utmost respect and care. I believe that without great relationships, I cannot build a great business to serve the community.

Great Service

The crux of my business depends upon great service, without great service I cannot successfully impact the community on the scale I desire. I will always stay abreast of the latest techniques and research to ensure you are receiving optimised care.

Friends First

I will treat all our interactions with the utmost professionalism, but I will always aim to develop a relationship with you as a person, you are not defined by your injury. I will develop a relationship with you as a person at the same time as providing superior service.

Receptive to Innovation

I will remain receptive to new concepts and ways of doing things regardless of where or who the idea comes from. I recognise that the community will often provide the greatest source of innovation and progress.

Community Service

My work is often provided on a 1-to-1 basis, but my underlying goal is to provide a positive contribution to society at large by promoting healthy and active lifestyles.

I Welcome all Questions

Whether it be a question of my services or how I handle my business, questions are always recommended. I believe in radical transparency with my business and service, and I highly value well-informed interactions.

Profit comes Second

All great businesses require profits to succeed, however, I believe profits are not the main goal of my company. Servicing the community to the greatest extent possible comes first, which will flow into a profitable company.

Treatment That Comes to You

I run 45-minute sessions, longer than the standard physio appointment, so we can properly work through assessment, hands-on treatment and a home exercise plan in the one visit. There's no referral needed, and I bring all the equipment required to your home, workplace, or even training ground. For Narangba families balancing school runs and weekend sport, I offer appointments before and after business hours, including weekends.

About Nathan

I'm Nathan Ashby, an APA physiotherapist and the founder of PRP Physio. I didn't set out to be a physio. I was headed for accounting until a basketball injury put me on the other side of the treatment table, and I realised I wanted a career helping people get back to the sport, activities and family time they love. Since graduating from James Cook University in 2015, I've worked in private practice across North Lakes, Everton Park and the Brisbane CBD, treating everyone from Olympic, Commonwealth and Paralympic athletes to weekend players, and working alongside exercise physiologists, strength coaches and podiatrists.

I opened PRP Physio in 2020 and now run it as a fully mobile clinic, because I believe clients deserve time. Longer consults mean more in-depth conversations, more of your questions answered and more hands-on treatment, and seeing you in your own home or training environment gives me a much better picture of your day-to-day life. My special interests include ACL rehabilitation (surgical and non-surgical), hamstring and groin injuries, tendon pain, shoulder injuries, adolescent sports injuries and recovery after orthopaedic surgery. I've developed evidence-based rehab programs for these conditions and an injury-screening program used with Queensland Academy of Sport athletes, and I hold qualifications in dry needling and APA Sports Level 1. Locally, I've been head physiotherapist for clubs including Caboolture Sports FC, Narangba Eagles and North Lakes United.

Outside of work, you'll usually find me trail running, cooking something new or trying to keep my veggie garden alive.

Narangba Mobile Physio FAQs

I treat sports injuries, back and neck pain, joint and tendon problems, headaches, and recovery after surgery, including ACL rehabilitation. Treatment can include hands-on techniques such as soft tissue release and joint mobilisations, dry needling, taping and a tailored exercise program. Everything is delivered at your home, workplace or training ground in Narangba. You can find the full list on my services page.

Each consultation is $110, for both your first appointment and follow-ups. Dry needling, taping and exercise bands are included at no extra cost. You can claim a rebate from your private health fund, and with a care plan from your GP, Medicare covers part of the fee, leaving a gap of $46.60. Approved WorkCover, DVA and third-party insurance clients have no out-of-pocket costs. My pricing page has the full details.

Appointments run for 45 minutes, for both your first visit and follow-ups. That gives me time to hear your story, assess you properly, treat you and set up your exercise program without rushing. DVA appointments are 30 minutes.

Book online or give me a call, choose a time that suits, and I'll come to your home, workplace or training ground in Narangba. I bring all the equipment needed, so you only need a bit of floor space and comfortable clothes that let me see and move the area we're treating. No GP referral is needed unless you're claiming through Medicare, WorkCover, DVA or third-party insurance. Before and after hours appointments are available.
